Governors’ Action Plan 2020-21

Vision: To recruit and maintain an appropriately qualified local governing body (LGB) with the range of attributes necessary to provide the support and critical analysis as required by Frederick Gent School and as mandated by the Two Counties Trust Role Description.

1. Governors to be allowed one half term from joining the governing body to successfully complete the Two Counties Trust compulsory training. If not completed in that time frame a meeting (face to face or virtual) is to be arranged with the Clerk and Chair to agree how completion maybe arrived at. In the case of a Co-Opted governor it may result in removal from the governing body. 2. Safer Recruitment and safeguarding training to be undertaken by two governors, once of whom should be the Chair.
